  • L’aigua, based on stories by Jesús Moncada, directed by Xico Masó and premiered at the Teatre Alegria in Terrassa in October 2007, at the Festival Temporada Alta 2007 and at the Sala Muntaner in Barcelona.
  • Arcàdia, by Tom Stoppard, directed by Ramon Simó and premiered at the Sala Petita of the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya in May 2007.
  • Der fliegende Holländer, by Richard Wagner, directed by Àlex Rigola and premiered at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in April 2007.
  • European House, production created by the company of the Teatre Lliure directed by Àlex Rigola and premiered at the same theatre in December 2005. Stage design with Sebastià Brosa.

    Butaca Award 2006 for best stage design.

  • Ricard III, by William Shakespeare, directed by Àlex Rigola and premiered at the Festival de Teatro Clásico de Almagro in July 2005.
  • Fuente Ovejuna, by Lope de Vega, directed by Ramon Simó and premiered at the Sala Gran of the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya in April 2005.

  • Santa Joana dels escorxadors, by Bertold Brecht, directed by Àlex Rigola and premiered at the Teatre Grec in the framework of the Grec-Fòrum Ciutat Festival in June 2004.

    A show that toured throughout Spain and Europe, including premieres in theatres such as the Berliner Ensemble.

  • Calígula, by Albert Camus, directed by Ramon Simó and premiered at the Sala Petita of the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya in April 2004.

  • Glengarry Glen Ross, by David Mamet, directed by Àlex Rigola and premiered at the Sala Fabià Puigserver of the Teatre Lliure in November 2003.

    Nominated for the Butaca Award 2004 for best stage design.

  • El Cancionero de Palacio, directed by Àlex Rigola and premiered at the Festival de Peralada in August 2003.

  • Àrea privada de caça, by Enric Nolla, directed by Rafel Duran and premiered at the Sala Tallers of the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya within the T6 Project in March 2003.

  • L’aparador, by Victòria Szpunberg, directed by Toni Casares and premiered at the Sala Tallers of the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya within the T6 Project in February 2003.

  • Excés, by Neil Labutte, directed by Magda Puyo and premiered at the Sala Tallers of the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya within the T6 Project in January 2003.

  • Juli Cèsar, by William Shakespeare, directed by Àlex Rigola and premiered at the Teatre Lliure de Gràcia in November 2002.

    This show toured throughout Spain and Europe.

  • Ganivets a les gallines, by David Harrower, directed by Antonio Simón Rodríguez and premiered at the Sala Tallers of the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya in October 2001.

  • Woyzeck, by Georg Büchner, directed by Àlex Rigola and premiered at the Teatre Romea in the framework of the Grec Festival 2001.

  • Les variacions Goldberg, by Georges Tabori, directed by Àlex Rigola and premiered at the Sala Tallers of the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya in January 2001. 

  • Titus Andrònic, by William Shakespeare, directed by Àlex Rigola and premiered at the Teatre Zorrilla in Badalona in the framework of the Grec Festival 2000.

  • Un cop baix, by Richard Dresser, directed by Àlex Rigola and premiered at the Sitges International Theatre Festival 2000 and at the Sala Beckett the same year.

  • El criat, by Robin Maugham, directed by Mario Gas and premiered at the Mercat de les Flors in 2000. Stage design with Mario Gas and Quico Gutiérrez.

  • No és tan fàcil, by Paco Mir, directed by Josep Maria Mestres and premiered at the Club Capitol in December 1999.

  • La màquina d’aigua, by David Mamet, directed by Àlex Rigola and premiered at the Sitges International Theatre Festival 1999 and at the Sala Beckett in December 1999.

  • Leonce i Lena, by Georg Büchner, directed by Sven-Eric Bechtolf, premiered at the Sitges International Theatre Festival 1998 and at the Teatre Joventut within the programme of the Grec Festival 1998.

  • Cançons d’Alabama, by Gerard Vàzquez, directed by Robert Torres and premiered at the Versus Teatre in March 1998.

Institut del teatre

Since 2007 she has been professor of Scenography at the Institut del Teatre of Barcelona Provincial Council, attached to the Department of Scenography. She has taught subjects such as:

30-hour course in Scenography LANDSCAPES IN ACTION, taught at the University of Arts of Targu Mures between May 27 and June 1, 2024.

Centro Cultural Juan de Salazar de Asunción (Paraguai) / ACEID

20-hour course in Scenography LANDSCAPE AND ACTION , taught at the Juan de Salazar Center between October 6 and 17, 2023.

The program included two conferences, one taught at the Juan de Salazar Center itself, and the other at the Instituto Superior de Bellas Artes de Asunción.

ICUB. Programa CONNEXIONS – Batxillerats Artístics Escènics

Stage and Costume Design course From Wording to Form at the Teatro San Martín in Buenos Aires in November, with Marta Rafa Serra, costume designer. November 2006.

Màster Espais Efímers de l’ETSAB

Lectures for the postgraduate students in the master’s degree “Ephemeral Spaces”, ETSAB (Higher Technical School of Architecture) at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, during the academic year 2002-03.

 


Curated Works

 

  • Curator appointed by the Institut del Teatre of Barcelona Provincial Council for the exhibitions and activities representing Catalonia at the Quadriennal d’Escenografia de Praga del 2019.

    This participation received one of the three awards of the international jury of the quadrennial PQ2019 Award for Best Exhibition of Countries and Regions.

  • Curator appointed by the Institut del Teatre of Barcelona Provincial Council for the exhibitions and activities representing Catalonia at the Quadriennal d’Escenografia de Praga del 2015.

  • Conferència El món escenogràfic de la literatura de Palau i Fabre, realitzada l’1 de maig del 2021 a la Fundació Palau dins del cicle Josep Palau i Fabre. Retrat Inacabat.
  • Speaker on the course Paisatge i Acció organised by the CCCB and the Institut del Teatre (2017-18).

  • Participation as speaker in the symposium Porous Borders organised by the Artistic Direction of the PQ’19.

  • Participation as speaker in the symposium organised by the PQ in the framework of 2016 for conceiving and organising the PQ’19. The content of the talk was selected for publication in the journal Theatre and Performance Design, published by the Prague Quadrennial and Taylor and Francis Group (April 2016).

  • Participation as speaker in the Congreso Internacional de Escenografia de Tandil (Buenos Aires),organized by INDEES (Instituto de Estudios Escenográficos en Artes Escénicas y Audiovisuales),  May 2016.

 


Awards and nominations

  • PQ2019 Award for Best Exhibition of Countries and Regions, for the installation PROSPECTIVE ACTIONS presented by Catalonia in the Countries and Regions section of the PQ’19. It is a project led by the Institut del Teatre, curated by Marta Rafa and Bibiana Puigdefàbregas, and designed by Laura Clos, Pau Masaló, Xesca Salvà and Marc Villanueva.
